New bars, restaurants and performance space at Perth’s premier heritage theatre

The ornate Edwardian Baroque theatre was constructed in 1904 and these works represent the latest in a series of continual improvements which are vital for such an important heritage building. New bars, restaurants and performance space were created on three levels, connected by sweeping stairways cut into existing floor slabs. Compatibility between the new steel structure and existing brickwork/timber heritage form was paramount.
